Ling Chao

GENERAL MANAGER & EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Starting his career as a comics and concept artist 18 years ago, Ling Chao quickly developed versatile skills within the art production of games. He spent 3 years in Konami as a lead doing concepts, lighting, cg and animation before joining Mine Loader in 2003 as an all-round artist while taking on more managerial roles along the way. In 2009 he was appointed senior manager of art department and productions and led several big productions, including Hitman Absolution and Kane and Lynch II.

Sean Zhang

STUDIO ART DIRECTOR

Sean is a passionate artist that started his career 14 years ago as environment artist in Ubisoft where he spent several years as a senior environment and level artist before joining Perfect world as an Art Director which is the third-largest game developer in China. In 2009 he moved to Eidos Shanghai where he as the Art Director handled a number of AAA projects including Tomb Raider, Deus Ex and Hitman Absolution.

Jonathan Chan

DIRECTOR OF PRODUCTION

Jon started and developed his career as a production artist on AAA titles in the games industry 13 years ago. Taking on more leadership roles in studios like Ubisoft, Bethesda and Capcom he quickly developed a passion for supporting his artists with clarity on communications, strategies and project management, with the considerations of an experienced developer. He brings a wide range of knowledge and experience from his years of AAA and mobile development.

Started his career as an intern at Arts United since 2014.
He grown with Arts United from a talented prop artist during Hitman, World of Tank, Devil May Cry5, after several years of precipitation, he started to emerge as a lead artist on the Gears 5, Exoprimal, Rogue Company, etc. 
When we established Wuhan Arts United, he became Arts Director, taking charge of art direction for both Shanghai and Wuhan.

Joined Arts United when the studio was just established in 2012. 
Grown with Arts United through almost all the projects we’ve been working on.
Earned project management skills from asset creation projects such as Tomb Raider, Hitman and Monster Hunter, following with co-develop projects like the Gears 5, Rogue Company, and Street Fight 6.
